Prickett’s Fort State Park is a 1 hour and 30 minute drive from North Bend and is located near Fairmont, WV Box lunches include your choice of a sandwich, fresh fruit, chips, cookie, and beverage.
Package price is for two; this is not a per person price.
Reservations and payment are required in advance of arrival.
Packages may not be combined with other discounts.
This package not valid with special events.
* In summer season, North Bend requires a two night rental on weekends. However, if you decide to spend more than one night, a 20% discount off the room rate is extended for each additional night.
As one of West Virginia's most unique living history museums, Prickett’s Fort invites visitors to relive the pioneering spirit of Captain Jacob Prickett and his family. Prickett’s Fort State Park uses a living history style of interpretation to preserve, document and exhibit the past. It features an 18th century recreation of the original Prickett’s Fort which provided a place of refuge from Indian attack. In addition, guests enjoy visiting the original 19th century Job Prickett House, Prickett Cemetery, Visitor Center, and Museum Gift Shop. Prickett’s Fort is open seven days a week through Labor Day, then open Wednesday through Sunday.
